As it used to be in the
old days
In the old days, that is in
the previous century, in Soviet era, buses of the transport association used
to run in the Kotelnich region regularly and their timetables didn't
change for years. Those who always used the buses knew the timetables by heart
and if a driver had been a little late there were a lot of complaints. Then perestroika and the «death agony» of PATO* took place,
private carriers poped up and so there were no timetables for buses for
several years.
However market has taken its course. The
route to Leninskaya Iskra is profitable, and to the pleasure of local passengers
boards with timetables of two buses again appeared at the bus stops as it used
to be in the old days. They containt separate timetables for weekdays and Sundays. We can do everything if we want, especially
if it is profitable.
